生球压实。仅靠毛细力结合起来的生球，强度不大。为了提高生球强度，必须停止喷水，使生球在造 球盘上滚动，将生球内部的毛细水全部挤出，为周围矿粉所吸收；同时使生球内的矿粉颗粒排列得更紧密，使薄膜水层有可能相互接触，形成众多颗粒共有的水化膜而加强结合力，从而使生球强度大大提高。当生球达到一定粒度和密度后，由于造球盘的离心力作用，生球自动被抛出盘外。
