3、鼓风冷却球团矿，直接利用冷却带所得热空气助燃焙烧带燃料燃烧、以及干燥带使用；只将温度低含水分高的废气排入烟囱；

竖炉是较早采用的球团矿焙烧设备。现代竖炉在**部设有烘干床，焙烧室*设有导风墙。燃烧室内产生的高温气体从两侧喷入焙烧室向**部运动，生球从上部均匀地铺在烘干床上被上升热气体干燥、预热，然后沿烘干床斜坡滑入焙烧室内焙烧固结，在出焙烧室后与从底部鼓进的冷风气相遇，得到冷却。较后用排矿机排出竖炉。
预糊化淀粉是一种以**淀粉为原料，经过变性改良而成。具有许多重要的性质，包括：溶液增稠性、良好水溶性、悬浮或与胶液稳定性、保护胶体作用、成膜性、保水性、黏合性能、无味、生物相容性、触变性等。在建筑工业中（保温砂浆、腻子粉、瓷砖粘结、建筑砂浆等）可使施工性能提高，同时生产成本则降低10-20%左右。

预糊化淀粉因采用国际阿尔法生产工艺，所以又称为阿尔法淀粉（α-淀粉）、预胶化淀粉、物理改性淀粉、膨化淀粉。

高粘度预糊化淀粉广泛应用于饲料、铸造、石油钻井、纸箱、建材涂料等行业。与其它建筑外加剂有很好的相溶性。
